Fernando “King Nando” Rivera was a Latin musician known for his significant contribution to the development of Latin boogaloo during the 1960s and 1970s. His song “Fortuna” became an international hit in the mid-1960s. Rivera passed away in his sleep on February 2, 2008, at the age of 62.
