King's X is a hard rock band that originated in Springfield, Missouri, USA. Formed in 1979, they initially went by the name The Edge before adopting the name King's X in 1985. The band is known for its unique blend of progressive metal, funk, and soul, with vocal styles influenced by gospel, blues, and British Invasion rock groups. The lineup consists of members playing bass and vocals, guitar and vocals, and drums and vocals. Kirk Henderson was a past member who played rhythm guitar.
