KOKOKO! is a collective from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, comprised of musical instrument inventors from the Ngwaka neighbourhood, electronic producer Makara Bianko, and his dancers from the Lingwala neighbourhood. They are best known for their unique approach to music creation, utilizing re-wired and up-cycled materials such as metal, cans, engine parts, and plastic containers sourced from the streets of Kinshasa.
