Kokoroko is a young, London-based Afrobeat band consisting of eight members, led by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey. The band draws inspiration from influential artists such as Fela Kuti, Ebo Taylor, and Tony Allen, as well as the vibrant sounds of West Africa. The lineup includes Cassie Kinoshi on saxophone and vocals, Richie SeivWright on trombone and vocals, Duane Atherley on bass, Tobi Adenaike on guitar, Yohan Kebede on keyboards, Onome Edgeworth on percussion, and Ayo Salawu on drums.
