Konstruktivists was formed in 1982 out of the ashes of another project. In the early years, the name was primarily listed as Konstruktivits on releases and promotional materials, though Konstruktivists also appeared on a few releases, with both names being used interchangeably. In more recent years, the names Konstruktivists and the shorter Konstruktivist have appeared on releases.
