Kota Motomura is an artist from Tokyo, born in 1983. He began playing the keyboard at the age of 14 and studied Solfege under Master Masahiko Muraoka. Inspired by Ken Ishi's live show on TV, Kota started creating house, techno, and dance music. He won the Grand Prize in Sound & Recording magazine’s 'KEN ISHII×MySpace KEN ISHII 15TH ANNIVERSARY Collaboration' contest, celebrating the 15th anniversary of Ken Ishii's debut. Kota has released a 12" record through King Kung Foo Records and his second single with Hobbes Music was released on June 14, 2019. His music has been featured on Tim Sweeney's Beat in Space Radio, Bill Brewster's Radio, Phat Phil Cooper's podcast, and has been played twice by Tom Ravenscroft on BBC Radio 6.
