Krust, originally from the Knowle West council estate in Bristol, is a respected figure in the Drum and Bass scene. He gained recognition through numerous releases on V.Recordings, including the classic track 'Warhead'. Alongside friends Roni Size and DJ Die, he helped elevate the label to prominence. Krust and Roni Size later founded Full Cycle Records, which became a leading Drum and Bass record label. As part of Roni Size's collective Reprazent, Krust contributed to the genre's evolution with pioneering long-form tracks like 'Memories', 'Brief Encounters', 'Soul in Motion', 'Future Unknown', and 'True Stories', culminating in the notable 6x12" LP 'Coded Language' for Gilles Peterson's Talkin' Loud label. Throughout the 2000s, Krust continued to produce well-received tracks, including a remix of Roni Size's 'Snapshot' (renamed 'Snapped It'), 'Kloaking King', and 'Follow Da Vision'. After releasing his second LP, 'Hidden Knowledge', in 2006, he relocated to London and took a break from producing. In 2008, Full Cycle Records was shut down as its members chose to pursue separate paths.
