Krystol is a musical group originally formed in high school in Los Angeles under the name Crystal Blue. The group gained recognition after meeting producer Leon Sylvers during a social outing, which led to a friendship and ultimately a record deal with Epic in 1984. Sylvers produced their debut album, 'Gettin' Ready,' which featured the club hit 'After The Dance Is Through,' popular from 1984 to 1985, although it did not chart in the UK. Their follow-up album, 'Talk Of The Town,' was released in 1985 and included tracks such as 'The Things That Men Do' and 'Passion For A Woman.' Robbie Danzie, initially brought in as a stand-in for Floyd during her maternity leave in 1985, became the sole lead vocalist for that project.
