Kurtis Scott, formerly known as Kurt Harris and born Curtis Futch Jr. in Elonia, Georgia, moved to New York City around 1952. He has had a long career in show business, including time as an ex-boxer and a group singer. In 1958, he recorded with the Capitols, providing bass vocals on the classic track "Angel Of Love." Throughout his career, Scott has appeared in films alongside notable actors such as Van Johnson, Gene Hackman, and Robert Culp, among others.
