Kuruki was primarily a solo project by a musician based in Ghent. In 1981, he released the single "Crocodile Tears," which became a fun and interesting one-hit wonder. This was followed by three 12" releases in 1983, recorded with collaborators from the music scene, and a full-length album in 1984. Later, he went on to play drums with a blues musician.
