L-Wiz is a Swedish duo consisting of Claes Rosén and Ola Näslund, hailing from Nynäshamn, near Stockholm. They began producing dubstep in the early 2000s and connected with Caspa through the old forum dubplate.net in 2003. Their first release on Dubpolice in 2005, featuring tracks like "Habibi," "Egyptic," and "Girlfriend," was a significant success. Following this, they continued to release music on various labels, including Baredubs, Destructive Recordings, Sonic Boom, Red Volume, Dub Thiefs, Kapsize, Universal Music, and their own label under the All Out Dubstep crew. Their main influences include notable dubstep producers such as Anti Social Ent, Kromestar, Joker, Clouds, Coki, Benga, and Skream, as well as house and funky music. L-Wiz is also part of the All Out Dubstep gang in Stockholm, organizing club nights and various dubstep events in Sweden. In January 2012, they made history by winning the prestigious Swedish music competition P3 Guld for Best Dance, becoming the first dubstep act to achieve this honor.
