La Biblia is an Ecuadorian music group that originated in the 1970s at the Iglesia Concepción in front of the Forestal. The group was formed by young musicians who were encouraged by the local priest to incorporate music into Sunday masses. Initial members included Carlos Baque (first guitar), José Balseca (drums), and others whose names have been forgotten. They practiced in various homes and eventually began performing at the church. Although the group initially did not have a name, they decided to call themselves "La Biblia." Over time, they gained recognition, performing at events and becoming well-known in their community.
