La Charanga del Caribe is a tropical group, often associated with "Argentinian cumbia," that was formed in Argentina during the 1960s. The group is led by Coco Barcala on vocals and features Tuly Márquez (Juan de Dios Márquez) on percussion and vocals, Panamito (Alejandro Jibaja Molero) on güiro, Míguez (Miguel Salas del Valle) on guitar, Fredy (Alfredo Skuza) on bass, and Pellegrino (Juan Carlos Cristóforo) on piano.
