Pambelé, also known as La Pambelé, is a musical ensemble composed of seven musicians who explore the connections between traditional Colombian Caribbean music and Western psychedelic influences. The members have collaborated with various artistic projects, including David Walters, Joao Selva, Bigre Big Band, Electric Mamba, The Bongo Hop, and Bruno Patchworks, as well as renowned international artists like Ricky Martin, Luis Miguel, Totó La Momposina, Nidia Góngora, and Juan Luis Guerra. Active in the emerging national music scene, Pambelé enhances their knowledge and expands their collaborative networks with numerous cultural actors both in France and abroad. Their multicultural approach, shaped by travel and encounters, creates a rich artistic playground. In their debut album titled "Dámelo," Pambelé offers a fresh interpretation of transatlantic sound journeys, blending elements of rock, punk, and pop with Afro-Caribbean culture. The group embraces a mixed and plural musical proposition that is syncretic, free from commercial dictates, and remains true to their primary motivation: to maintain the unbreakable link between dance and trance, between the natural and the wild, propelling listeners into a profound and powerful sonic universe.
