La Tropa Loca is a musical group founded in Mexico City in 1968 by Juan Jose Caballero and Federico Espinosa P. and N. They gained popularity with hits such as "Mill to the Wind," "It Sounds Tremendo," "Punto Final," and "Yoly Yoly," which were featured on their first LP, Viva La Tropa Loca, released by EMI CAPITOL in Mexico. The group achieved significant success in 1973 with the gold record "A DREAM," which topped the charts in Mexico, the United States, and throughout Latin America for eleven months. They also had notable hits like "Kneeling To You," "The Traveling Band," "Candida," and "Knock Three Times." In the 1980s, La Tropa Loca explored different musical styles, achieving success with songs such as "Cumbia del Metro" and "Hard, Hard, Durazo." Since the 1990s, the group has focused on touring and performing concerts in the United States and Mexico.
