Laberinto is a metal/hardcore band founded in 1989 in Caracas, Venezuela. They quickly gained national popularity and, in 1991, began to explore their musical identity by experimenting with the musical roots of Latin America while combining Spanish and English lyrics. Seeking new challenges, the band moved to Amsterdam, where they further developed their unique style known as Metal-latino. Between 1995 and 2012, Laberinto released one EP, seven full-length albums, and a compilation album. The band has seen several lineup changes over the years: Raymundo Ceballos provided vocals and percussion from 1989 to 2008, while Pablo Minoli played guitar from 1989 to 2004. Ronny Tuiman took over vocals in 2008, and Abel Cañizales joined on guitar in 2004. Marco Toro has been on drums and percussion, Gregorio Rangel has contributed bass and vocals, and Miguel Padrón has played percussion.
