Ladytron is a British electronic band that originated in Liverpool in 1997. The group was formed by Daniel Hunt, who handles synthesizers, guitar, and vocals, and Reuben Wu, who focuses on synthesizers. In 1999, Helen Marnie joined as the lead vocalist and synthesizer player, along with Mira Aroyo, who contributes vocals and synthesizers. The name "Ladytron" is derived from a song by Roxy Music. In March 2023, Reuben Wu departed amicably from the band to dedicate himself fully to his acclaimed work as a photographer and visual artist.
