Lana Pellay, born Alan "Al" Pillay on August 22, 1959, in Grimsby, England, is a multifaceted performer known for her work in music and television. She gained recognition in "The Comic Strip Presents," appearing as Alan Pellay in the episode "Gino" and as Alana Pellay in "The Bullshitters," as well as portraying Lana Pellay in the feature film "The Supergrass." Transitioning into a disco diva, she became known for her vibrant performances, often wearing costumes designed by her close friend Leigh Bowery. Lana achieved success with her single "Pistol In My Pocket," which reached the top 40 in Australia and New Zealand. She also collaborated with Gary Clail on the 1991 hit "Human Nature." Her discography includes PWL-produced singles such as "Pistol in My Pocket" (1986), which peaked at #96 in the UK, #17 in Australia, and #40 in New Zealand, and "I Can Make a Man Out of You" (1986).
