Lani Punani is a Filipino bakla bangah artist from Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, with ancestral roots in the Philippines. Their diverse practice includes soundscape production, DJing, film, photography, design, body movement, and painting. In 2025, they received a grant for "OUR JOY iS SACRED," a project celebrating relationships within the MVPFAFF+ LGBTQIA+ community in Hawaiʻi, aiming to archive the present and chronicle the future experiences of being Māhū and queer in Hawai‘i and beyond.
