Lard Free was a French avant-garde/prog rock band founded in December 1970 by Gilbert Artman, Francis Mativet, Jean-Jacques Miette, Dominique Triloff, and Philippe Bolliet. The band experienced numerous lineup changes over the years but consistently featured Artman. Their final performances took place in May 1978, during a collaboration.
