Larry Collins (October 4, 1944 - January 5, 2024) was an American musician from Tulsa, Oklahoma, renowned for his skillful use of a double-neck Mosrite guitar, a style influenced by his mentor. He became an accomplished guitarist by the age of 10 and, in the late 1950s, formed a rockabilly duo with his older sister. Throughout his career, Collins wrote and produced hits for many prominent country music stars, but he is perhaps best known for co-writing the classic song "Delta Dawn." He passed away at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita, California.
