Lasse Englund is a Swedish guitarist and producer, born on November 25, 1951. He began playing guitar in 1961 and made his debut under his own name in 1974. Throughout his career, Englund has contributed to a vast number of Swedish music albums as a guitarist and producer. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Björn Afzelius, Thomas Almqvist, and Eva Dahlgren, among many others. Englund received a Grammy award for Producer of the Year in 1994 and was honored with the Guitar Peoples Prize in 2002. He was married twice, first from 1975 to 1979 to Maj Schytz and then from 1981 to another artist.
