Lauren Flax is a Detroit native and long-time resident of Brooklyn, known for her versatility as an artist, DJ, and producer. With years of international performance experience across various projects and genres, she has built an extensive discography featuring original tracks, collaborations, and remixes with notable artists, including Grammy-nominated Sia, Little Boots, and Tricky. Lauren has toured globally as a member of the successful trip-hop project CREEP and is recognized for energizing dance floors at venues like Nowadays, House of Yes, and Elsewhere in Brooklyn, as well as Panorama Bar and Whole United Queer Festival in Germany. In recent months, she has been focused on refining her analog hardware live set and working on her solo productions. Last year, she released Dance Trax Vol. 16, a 5-track EP of acid-tinged jack tracks on DJ Haus’ Unknown To The Unknown label, and contributed standout tracks to various dance music compilations, including a collaboration with Tigga Calore on Allergy Season’s Physically Sick 2. Looking ahead, Lauren has EPs scheduled for release on The Bunker NY and 2MR records, along with upcoming collaborations with The Juan Maclean, Chambray, Craig Williams, and Gettoblaster.
