Lawrence, whose real name is Peter Kersten, is a former gardener whose love of nature influences his minimal techno music. His compositions reflect a wistful spirit and an organic progression, making them suitable for both the dancefloor and relaxed listening. He co-founded a label in Hamburg with friends and has established himself as a producer of minimal club music. Influenced by artists such as Theo Parrish, Gas, and Isolée, Kersten's work as Lawrence showcases a variety of shades and styles.
