Lazywax is an electronic dance duo based in Sydney, Australia, consisting of Hans Müller (Nathan Hawes, also known as KESMAR) and Wolfgang Schneider (Tim Ayre). The duo met while clubbing in Berlin and made their debut in 2020. They quickly discovered a shared passion for Italo-disco producers and composers, which led to the creation of their first track, "Pluto," recorded at Hans's studio using an 8 track tape machine, Minimoog Model-D, and a Juno 60. As they continued to develop their project, Lazywax cultivated a unique sound characterized by disco cuts and influences from the '70s and '80s. They have remixed tracks for artists such as Kraak & Smaak, Poolside, Dave Lee (a.k.a. Joey Negro), Roosevelt, and Classixx. The duo has also toured their live show across Australia, performing alongside notable acts like Folamour, Caribou, and The Jungle Giants.
