**Bio: Leaf Hound** Leaf Hound is a British heavy rock band that emerged around 1969-1970. The band's early lineup included members from Black Cat Bones, featuring guitarist Paul Kossoff and drummer Simon Kirke, who both left to form Free, while guitarist Rod Price departed to join Foghat. The lineup that solidified included Peter French on vocals, Mick Halls on guitar, and brothers Derek and Stuart Brooks on guitar and bass, respectively, along with Keith George-Young on drums. In late 1970, Leaf Hound recorded their album "Growers Of Mushroom" at Spot Studios in Mayfair, London. Shortly after the recording, the Brooks brothers left the band, and Ron Thomas stepped in on bass as they toured Europe as a four-piece. They released the single "Drowned My Life In Fear" and their self-titled album in Germany on Telefunken. "Growers Of Mushroom" was released shortly after on Decca, featuring all tracks from the self-titled album. By this time, Peter French had already left to join Atomic Rooster for their album "In Hearing Of," and he later became a member of the American hard rock band Cactus. In 2004, Peter French reformed the band, leading to the release of a 7" single and an LP.
