Lee Aaron, born on July 21, 1962, in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, is a renowned musician known as Canada's 'Metal Queen.' Initially performing under the name Karen Greening, she became one of the first women to achieve a successful solo career in heavy metal music. In the late 1980s, her musical style evolved to become less heavy and more commercial. In 1996, she formed the alternative rock band 2preciious and reverted to her birth name, Karen. After the band disbanded following their debut album, she reclaimed her stage name, Lee Aaron, and transitioned into a career in jazz and blues music.
