Lee Ritenour is an American guitarist and composer, born on January 11, 1952, in Los Angeles, California. With over 30 charting contemporary jazz hits since 1976, Ritenour has had a prolific career, contributing to over 3,000 sessions across jazz, rock, and Brazilian music. He earned the nickname "Captain Fingers" at the age of 16 during his first recording session, a testament to his remarkable dexterity on the guitar. He is also the father of one child.
