Lelio Luttazzi was an Italian musician, actor, singer, conductor, TV presenter, and showman, born in Trieste on April 27, 1923, and passing away on July 8, 2010. He began playing the piano by ear and was influenced by both jazz and pop music. While attending university, he performed in bars and seaside resorts. His first song, "Il Giovanotto Matto," achieved great success. Luttazzi later moved to Rome, where he immersed himself in the jazz scene and wrote numerous songs, with "Una Zebra a Pois" being among his most famous works. In 1967, he led the Hit Parade and was among the top-selling record artists in Italy. He made his acting debut and became a permanent presence on television, composing soundtracks and theater music. However, he stepped away from show business due to a legal matter, from which he emerged innocent but not entirely free. He returned to the industry many years later.
