The Lemon Pipers were an American band formed in the Oxford/Cincinnati, Ohio area between 1966 and 1970. The group emerged from a unique collaboration where members of Tony and the Bandits, Ivan and the Sabers, and the Driving Winds swapped lead singers. Although they were associated with Bubblegum Pop, the Lemon Pipers were a 'real' band that played on all their recordings. Some members later went on to form another band, which became known as a significant act in the music scene.
