Lennie Hibbert was a Jamaican musician born on November 12, 1928, in Mavis Bank, St. Andrew, near Blue Mountain. He was skilled in playing the vibraphone, saxophone, and drums. Hibbert attended a renowned school in Kingston, Jamaica, at the age of 8 and left at 16. Later in life, he became the school's music instructor and Band Master at the age of 27. He passed away on September 8, 1984, in complete anonymity. His nephew was also notable.
