Leo Kottke is an American acoustic guitarist based in Minnesota, born on September 11, 1945, in Athens, Georgia. He is known for his distinctive fingerpicking style that incorporates influences from blues, jazz, and folk music, as well as for his syncopated, polyphonic melodies.
