Leon Thomas (October 4, 1937 – May 8, 1999) was an American jazz singer known for his unique vocal style, which included yodelling. He gained prominence in 1969 with his performance of "The Creator Has a Master Plan," demonstrating that avant-garde jazz could achieve popularity. In addition to his solo work, Thomas served as a sideman on various recordings, including a notable record in 1970 and collaborations with other artists in 1973-1974. He passed away from heart failure on May 8, 1999.
