Leo Young, known professionally as Leo Zagami, began his DJing career at a young age, debuting on Catholic church radio stations in Italy at just 13 years old in 1983. By 1986, he gained national recognition through regular appearances on commercial networks and took up a residency at the renowned London nightclub Legends in 1987. The following year, he reached the DMC national finals and organized "L'Impero Dei Sensi," Italy's first rave in Rome in 1989, attracting notable figures such as Underground Resistance and Juan Atkins to Europe for the first time, and giving The Prodigy their first gig outside the UK. In 1991, Leo launched the Friday Uonna club in Rome, a pioneering venue that combined art exhibitions with a diverse mix of house, disco, and Detroit techno music. He later opened The Underground in the catacombs of Constantine. Controversy arose when he reclaimed a Catholic church for his Sunday Morning Cosmic House events, which ran for six months until they were shut down. Leo was also a prominent figure at Berlin's Tresor between 1995 and 1996. In addition to his DJ career, Leo is an ex-Freemason and has authored books on secret societies, Freemasonry, the Bavarian Illuminati, the Vatican, the decline of the Catholic Church, Cyber Satan, artificial intelligence, robotics, and the New World Order under his legal name.
