Leon Bridges is an American gospel and soul vocalist, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer, born on July 13, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is originally from Fort Worth, Texas, and is best known for his song "" from his debut album of the same name, released in 2015. This album was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in 2016. Bridges later released two more albums, with the track "Bet Ain't Worth the Hand" from his second album "" (2018) winning Best Traditional R&B Performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019.
