Leonard Nimoy was an American actor, film director, writer, musician, and photographer, born on March 26, 1931, in Boston, Massachusetts. He passed away on February 27, 2015, in Los Angeles, California. Nimoy is best known for his iconic role as "Mr. Spock" in the television series Star Trek, which aired from 1966 to 1969, as well as in the subsequent film franchise.
