Leroy Huston is an American vocalist, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer, born on June 4, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey. He was a roommate of a notable figure in the music industry and co-wrote a hit in 1970. In 1971, he succeeded Curtis Mayfield as the lead singer of The Impressions and remained with the group until 1973 when he embarked on a solo career. Despite his solo endeavors, he continued to be associated with the Curtom label until December 1979.
