Les Fleurs de Pavot were a band that, despite their hippie image, were not actual hippies. This image was crafted by their Svengali in a typical exploitative effort of the era. Initially, they released several EPs as a competent beat quintet before their transformation into hippie figures, which included one member allegedly named Jesus from San Francisco. Their album was produced by an impressive team, showcasing brilliant arrangements, drug-referencing lyrics, and a highly lysergic atmosphere.
