Les Georges Leningrad was a Montreal-based rock band formed in November 2000. Initially consisting of four members (two couples), the band saw the departure of bassist Toundra LaLouve (real name Chloé Latour), leading to a lineup of three: Poney P (vocals), Mingo (keyboards and guitar), and Bobo Boutin (drums). The band announced an unconventional approach to their future albums, stating that the next would feature only two members, followed by one member, and then none, before returning to a different format with all four members. They cited inspiration from the ghost of Leningrad in interviews. Les Georges Leningrad disbanded in March 2007.
