Les Thugs is a punk rock band from France, formed in 1983 in Angers. Initially consisting of five members, the lineup was reduced to four in the same year, featuring Eric Sourice on guitar and lead vocals, Thierry Meanard on guitar, Christophe Sourice on drums, and Gerald Chabaud on bass. Chabaud was later replaced by Pierre-Yves Sourice. Although the band disbanded at the end of the 1990s, they briefly reunited in 2008 for the Sub-Pop 20th Anniversary Festival and a short warm-up tour in France. A mix-up by their recording company led to their name resurfacing in 2010, associated with The Baseballs' similarly named "Strike" album.
