Les Volcans is the national police orchestra of the Republic of Benin, founded in 1962. After experiencing a few years of inactivity, it was revitalized in 1972. Since 1973, the orchestra has undergone a complete renovation with the inclusion of young musicians trained through various music courses, including the Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle de musique (C.A.P.). In the same year, a significant investment was made to equip the orchestra with ultra-modern and high-quality electronic instruments.
