Letieres Leite & Orkestra Rumpilezz is an award-winning orchestra founded in 2006 by composer, musician, and arranger Letieres Leite. Comprising 20 percussion and wind instrument players, the group celebrates the Afro-Bahian musical roots and their universal branches. Under Letieres' leadership, Orkestra Rumpilezz blends Afro-Bahian drumming with modern jazz, offering a contemporary harmonic perspective on the ancestral music of Bahia.
