Lewis Furey is a versatile composer, singer, pianist, and violinist born on June 7, 1949, in Montreal to French-US parents. He began studying the violin privately and made his debut with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra at the age of 11 as a soloist in a young people's concert. In 1974, he transitioned to pop music. Furey appeared alongside actress-singer in Gilles Carle's film "L'Ange Et La Femme" in 1976. The couple performed together, with Furey playing the violin or piano while she sang, and they eventually married and recorded several albums. One of their notable works, "Sentiments Naturels," was released in 1997 and featured electronic elements along with collaborations from various artists.
