Lewis Parker is a rapper originally from London, who grew up in Canterbury alongside fellow producer DJ Bias. As a teenager, he made his mark in the UK hip-hop scene with the release of "B Boy Antiks" and "Rise" through Trevor Jackson's Bite It! label, showcasing production reminiscent of Pete Rock and DITC. After a lengthy search for an album deal, he signed with Massive Attack's Virgin imprint, Melankolic, and released his debut album "Masquerades & Silhouettes" in 1998. This album highlighted the promise of his earlier work and, thanks to a connection with Massive Attack and subsequent touring, helped him gain a substantial international audience. Although his more recent work has varied in consistency, his best efforts continue to be recognized as some of the most musical hip-hop globally. Lewis Parker has since relocated from the UK to New York.
