Lewis Taylor is a British multi-instrumentalist musician and artist, born on 20 January 1966 in London, England, UK. He began his music career touring with a prog rock band and, in 1986, started performing as a solo artist, releasing two albums of psychedelia music, "Lewis Taylor" (1986) and "Stoned" (1987). Under the name Lewis Taylor, he released his self-titled album "Lewis Taylor" in 1996, which included tracks like "Bittersweet" and "Lucky" as singles. This album marked a significant shift from psychedelia to neo-soul and received critical acclaim. In June 2006, Lewis Taylor retired from music, but as Andrew Taylor, he continues to be active in the industry, serving as musical director and bass player for various projects, as well as guitarist and backing vocalist for "The Drivers." On 2 June 2021, a representative for Taylor announced that he had begun work on his first new studio album in 17 years.
