Lewsberg is a four-piece band from Rotterdam, named after the writer Robert Loesberg, known for his 1974 novel Enige Defecten. The band's music draws inspiration from the counterculture and urban cynicism of the 60s and 70s. Lewsberg creates rudimentary, repetitive rock songs marked by a nonchalant intensity. Their English lyrics, delivered with a Rotterdam accent, often reflect themes of existentialism and black humor.
