Li Daiguo is a Chinese-American multi-instrumentalist born in Oklahoma and currently based in Sichuan, China. He is proficient in a wide array of instruments, including the violin, viola, cello, pipa, nanyin pipa, and huqin (which encompasses erhu, sihu, banhu, and erxuan). Additionally, he plays various ethnic flutes such as xiao, nan-xiao (shakuhachi), hulusi, koudi, and bawu, as well as the Zimbabwean mbira, kalimba, and clarinet. Li is also skilled in human beatboxing and both high and low overtone throat singing.
