Lieve Hugo, born in 1934 in Paramaribo, Suriname, was famously known as "The King of Kaseko." He passed away on November 15, 1975, from a heart attack while performing with the Happy Boys at Club Sosa in Amsterdam. Following his death, he was flown back to Suriname and buried just two days before the country's official Independence Day, Srefidensi Dey, on November 25, 1975.
