Life Without Buildings was an indie rock band based in Glasgow, Scotland, formed in the summer of 1999. The band took its name from a track by an English new wave band. The initial lineup consisted of Will Bradley on drums, Chris Evans on bass, and Robert Johnston on guitar, all of whom were ex-students of the Glasgow School of Art. Painter Sue Tompkins joined the band as the vocalist later in 1999. Life Without Buildings disbanded in 2002.
