Lil Slim is a young hardcore rapper from New Orleans who was among the first artists associated with Cash Money Records prior to its commercial breakout in the late '90s. During his time with the label, he discovered a talented young kid from his neighborhood, who, despite being only 10 or 11 years old, already had a notebook full of memorable raps. Slim connected this kid with his label, marking the beginning of the young rapper's career.
